Ethyl Vanillin

Beschreibung

Ethyl Vanillin ist eine Basisnote mit einem balsamisch-ambrierten und vanilligen Profil. In der Parfümerie wird es häufig in vanilligen und fruchtigen Noten eingesetzt, oft in Kombination mit Vanillin, jedoch in kleineren Mengen, da es ein stärkeres Aroma besitzt. Ethyl Vanillin ist ein synthetischer Duftstoff und kommt in der Natur nicht vor. Es ist ein weißer Feststoff mit einer Dichte von 1,186 und einem Schmelzpunkt von 76°C. Unter Lichteinfluss kann es sich rot verfärben und ist nicht in allen Basen stabil, wie etwa in Kerzen oder Duschgels. Ethyl Vanillin hat einen künstlicheren und nahrungsähnlichen Charakter als Vanillin, wird jedoch dennoch häufig in der Parfümerie verwendet.
